Cards printing "pale"
The power supply may be bad. Uncouple the laminator and try its power supply on the printer without the laminator attached.
If the image is no longer pale REPLACE POWER SUPPLY
If the problem persists REPLACE PRINTER - The film and/or ribbon motors are bad.
